Start with the listed troop and specialty tags, then read the skill triggers below. A gathering condition, commander-position condition or status requirement changes when an effect applies. Compare a complete march rather than ranking the hero by one factor.
Choose a different second commander in the planner, keep both upgrade states explicit and inspect the bonus sources. Atlas does not simulate full combat damage or prove that a pairing is best for every account.

Hero background
Eugen was born into the famous High Alp tribe, once considered the best hunters, the greatest sailors, and the most powerful warriors.
But the High Alp tribe has long since fallen. After several devastating battles that dwindled their numbers, the High Alp tribe collapsed. Eugen, who should have been born with a silver spoon in his mouth, had to leave his tribe and join a band of mercenaries to survive.
The Vikings fought often, not just against outsiders, but fellow Vikings as well. Eugen jumped from tribe to tribe in his youth, only to feel he'd wasted his time, his prospects slim.
This desolate view changed one cold morning. Eugen rescued an old man from the mouth of a beast. The old man was grateful. He picked up Eugen's battleaxe and spoke.
"Odin blesses you, honorable High Alp King."
These word filled Eugen's heart with a fiery sensation. Eugen had not heard the name in a long time and it brought back forgotten memories and scenes of past glory. Eugen then heard a hissing voice.
"Return. Return to High Alp and rebuild its glory."
Eugen bid farewell to the mercenary group and embarked on a journey to rebuild the High Alp tribe. He finally found meaning in his life. He had an unshakable belief that he would achieve his goal.
The High Alp king said the tribe would be rebuilt, so it shall!
