Checking your choice…
Choosing off saves only a non-identifying preference cookie for 180 days. It is not an analytics or advertising cookie. Allowing measurement removes it. The choice applies to this browser and hostname; clearing cookies removes it. We continue to honour browser privacy signals.
Previously collected, unlinked totals cannot identify your individual contribution and expire within 30 days. This control does not disable essential security or delivery logs, or Cloudflare’s separate performance service.
Why we measure website activity
We use first-party aggregate statistics to improve this website: to understand which resources are useful, whether the planner and demonstration are used, and whether interest requests are confirmed. We do not use these activity records for advertising profiles, retargeting, pricing decisions about individuals or tracking people across websites. They are not session recordings. Email-update consent remains separate.
You can object using the control above without an account or payment. Browser privacy signals and that preference are checked before optional activity or outcome counts are recorded. The service necessarily receives network information when a request arrives; IP addresses are not stored in the activity totals. Short-lived abuse-prevention counters and infrastructure logs are separate. This notice describes the implementation, not a promise that every visitor can be counted or an independent legal certification.
Optional enhanced measurement
Enhanced aggregate measurement is enabled for this build. When enabled, it adds coarse page categories, hero-button choices, video milestones, planner starts/saves/shares, wiki-search use, comparison/trial views and Discord clicks. Search words, hardware answers, URL queries, email addresses, private tokens and visitor or session identifiers are not included in these event records. Video completion means at least 98% of the recording has played; seeking forward alone does not count.
New stored signup requests, first email confirmations and first optional-question submissions can be counted separately on the server, using the signup’s bounded acquisition label. These are different events—not a single success count. Old records are not backfilled, retries do not create another confirmed outcome, and privacy opt-outs at signup or confirmation prevent subsequent optional outcome measurement. This does not change marketing consent or your ability to join. Shared daily aggregates are retained for up to 30 days; they cannot identify your contribution and are not individually linked back for deletion. Removing a signup deletes its personal record and measurement eligibility; already unlinked aggregate totals expire normally. Repeat visits, blocking, bots and missing attribution prevent these counts from representing unique people or a precise individual conversion journey.

What we collect
Your email address, optional farm-count range, current tool, most wanted automation, current difficulty, beta-testing interest and self-reported discovery source if you choose to provide them after confirmation, signup time, the consent wording you agreed to, and confirmation and email-submission status. We do not ask for your game password, payment details or GnBots configuration on this website.
Campaign measurement
We recognise fixed campaign labels, approved UTM labels and coarse referral categories such as Google, YouTube or another site. We never store the raw referring URL or its search terms. The fixed label may be carried in the page URL so it survives navigation and reloads; it is not a visitor identifier. Missing attribution remains unknown, not assumed direct traffic. If you join, the label is saved with your request. Daily aggregate counts cover arrivals, demo plays, signup clicks, form starts/errors, completed plans and share-button use for up to 30 days. They contain no email or visitor ID and are not unique-person or exact conversion measurements. No analytics cookies, local storage or fingerprints are used. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable optional browser measurement and inferred signup attribution; identifiable automated checks are excluded where detectable. Signup-source information and optional answers are retained and removed with the signup.
Why we use it
With your consent, we use your confirmed email for VRA development, testing and launch updates. A confirmation email checks that the address belongs to you. Joining is free, is not an order and does not guarantee a testing place or release date. You can browse the site without joining.
Automatic build updates
When new changelog entries are published, confirmed subscribers receive an email digest with the changes and a link to the public build log. We record the update batch, submission attempts and SMTP acceptance or failure to avoid duplicate mail and investigate delivery problems. Unconfirmed requests do not receive these updates. Routine redeploys and edits to an existing entry do not trigger a new announcement. SMTP acceptance does not guarantee inbox delivery.
Withdraw or remove your signup
Use the private unsubscribe link in any build update, the removal link in your confirmation email, or contact hello@youngstudio.uk. Opening the link does not delete anything until you confirm removal. Removal deletes your signup and its linked update-delivery records, and prevents queued updates being sent. The private token is kept out of the page’s server-request URL. We do not issue access to an existing signup merely because someone knows its email address. An email already submitted to the mail server cannot be recalled.
How long we keep it
Unconfirmed requests are removed after seven days. Confirmed interest records are retained for up to twelve months from signup, or removed sooner when you leave or the project closes. Short-lived request counters limit abusive submissions and expire after two minutes. Operational access logs and protected backups may temporarily retain technical information; deletion requests are also applied to active records.
Where it goes
Records are held in private server storage. The owner’s interest-review dashboard is restricted to the local network and is not part of the public site. Cloudflare provides the public website’s encrypted delivery, security layer and cookie-free performance measurements, and our email hosting provider processes confirmation and update emails. We do not sell the list.
Free setup planner
PC details and generated plans are processed in your browser, not uploaded or saved by the website. Saving a plan downloads a local text file. Sharing the planner shares its public link, not your answers. If optional measurement is enabled, only an aggregate completion or share event is recorded.
Cookies and security
This site does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Confirmation and removal links use private tokens. We apply access restrictions and request controls, but no website or email service can be guaranteed risk-free.
