Leidolf: Viking Rise hero guide

Leidolf — Niflung Settler. Inspect skills, talent effects and progression, then compare a starter march with the upgrades you intend to use.

How to evaluate this hero

Start with the listed troop and specialty tags, then read the skill triggers below. A gathering condition, commander-position condition or status requirement changes when an effect applies. Compare a complete march rather than ranking the hero by one factor.

Choose a different second commander in the planner, keep both upgrade states explicit and inspect the bonus sources. Atlas does not simulate full combat damage or prove that a pairing is best for every account.

Hero skills and awakened effect

Two reference variants are shown for each listed skill. Use the planner to inspect available level and star choices. An awakened skill replaces the corresponding original skill where supported; these effects are not all active together.

Hero background

The Niflung vanguard Leidolf was an executioner who Vikings hated. His troops were unpredictable and massively hurt Vikings. He gained the title Blade of Death. Vikings made a lot of effort to destroy Leidolf , even allying multiple tribes to surround Lindsey. But Leidolf managed to escape. But it wasn't all for nothing. The Vikings learned the Niflungs could find Leidolf using some kind of bell. After a few more battles, the Vikings manage to get their hands on these bells and trapped Leidolf using them. But surprisingly, Leidolf was simple-minded he had no concept of right or wrong. Someone else was manipulating him. After destroying Leidolf 's control device, the Niflung vanguard suffered great pain and tried to escape. After he calmed down, Leidolf said there were many other puppet warriors like him, mostly Niflung generals and warriors unwilling to participate in the war. They share the name Leidolf and are driven to offer sacrifices to the god of death. These Leidolf s are not only expected to fight for Niflungs, but also to suppress any opposition. As an expendable soldier, Leidolf 's wounds were difficult to heal, but the power from the god of death greatly increased his speed and strength, making him an unstoppable fighting machine. After a period of recuperation and reconditioning, Leidolf could have spent the rest of his days under guard. Instead, he decided to join the Vikings in order to free the other Leidolf s and end this terrible war.
