Viking Rise KvK Map Planning: Routes, Chronicles and Team Briefings

A useful KvK map plan needs a campaign, a phase and a shared understanding of what the map can prove. Atlas shows captured objective locations and rules; it is not a live ownership or troop-tracking service.

Step 1

Match the campaign before drawing

Start in the KvK guide hub and choose the campaign used by your kingdom. Review its named objectives, rules and Chronicle stages. Alternative layouts are separate references; a familiar campaign name does not guarantee that every placement matches your current season.

Step 2

Read milestones as planning evidence

Use the objective directory to find a landmark and inspect linked Chronicle milestones. A milestone reached in the preview is not proof that an objective is currently open or owned. Objectives without a linked schedule need direct confirmation in the current game.

Step 3

Plan by phase

Choose a Chronicle preview stage, then add routes, areas, pins and labels. Set the first and last stages where an annotation belongs. Compare the phase view with the all-phases view so a route intended for a later stage is not mistaken for an immediate assignment.

Step 4

Anchor the calendar deliberately

Enter a known UTC anchor from your current Chronicles and select what that anchor represents. Exported dates are calculated planning forecasts. Check the anchor and live game schedule together before using calendar reminders to coordinate people.

Step 5

Publish a briefing your team can review

Add concise assignments and notes, save a checkpoint, then export a strategy image or JSON plan. Share only information intended for your team: the link includes annotations and notes. Ask teammates to confirm the campaign, phase and assumptions before acting.
