Start with the listed troop and specialty tags, then read the skill triggers below. A gathering condition, commander-position condition or status requirement changes when an effect applies. Compare a complete march rather than ranking the hero by one factor.
Choose a different second commander in the planner, keep both upgrade states explicit and inspect the bonus sources. Atlas does not simulate full combat damage or prove that a pairing is best for every account.

Hero background
It's not easy to earn the title of warrior among the martial Vikings, but Bjorn did it long ago. On the day he came of age, Bjorn left his home to go on a trial despite his people's warnings.
He crossed countless forests and glaciers before arriving at the northernmost snowfields. This is the most dangerous place in the entire north, full of ice, snow, and giant beasts. Bjorn buried his longsword under the ice and entered the snowy plains empty-handed.
Over the next three years, Bjorn used a primitive stone axe and wooden spear to conquer the snowy plains. When he returned with a beast's head upon his shoulders and the earth behind him stained with blood, it was the silent announcement of the birth of a legend.
The experience in the snowy plains enhanced Bjorn's fighting style. No longer would he only pound and pounce. He learned to kill the most enemies with brutal efficiency and left wounds on every opponent he brushed past. When the enemy could no longer withstand the fear and pressure Bjorn brought, they turned and tried to escape. But their legs trembled with fear at the cold sword harsher than Bjorn's chilly demeanor.
No matter how strong he was, even Bjorn couldn't protect his clan from the Niflung's frenzied attacks. His bravery was nothing in a war of this magnitude. Bjorn now searches for a new leader. One who can lead the Vikings and defeat the Niflungs once and for all.
