Waltham — Frost Thorn. Inspect skills, talent effects and progression, then compare a starter march with the upgrades you intend to use.
Start with the listed troop and specialty tags, then read the skill triggers below. A gathering condition, commander-position condition or status requirement changes when an effect applies. Compare a complete march rather than ranking the hero by one factor.
Choose a different second commander in the planner, keep both upgrade states explicit and inspect the bonus sources. Atlas does not simulate full combat damage or prove that a pairing is best for every account.
Two reference variants are shown for each listed skill. Use the planner to inspect available level and star choices. An awakened skill replaces the corresponding original skill where supported; these effects are not all active together.

Waltham's clan is tiny and far inferior to the other clans in terms of combat ability. The clan had a difficult time in the harsh northern environment. As clan leader, Waltham took a basket to the forest to search for valuable resources for his people every morning. His experience allowed him to return with a full basket. He was like a flag that never fell, inspiring his people in those desperate times. When Waltham fell into a crevasse of ice, he was dismayed. He walked along the jagged crevice and began to shiver. His hands and feet turned numb from the cold, and he could not tell how long he had been walking. When he opened his eyes, he stood before an open temple. The temple was a ruin except for the faintly glowing goddess statue. Waltham fell to his knees and prayed. He told her the plight of his clan. His heart was surprisingly peaceful. When Waltham was near fainting, he saw golden orbs of light pull away from the statue and enter his body. Waltham woke up and found himself near his clan. His frostbite was completely healed. Waltham also found he could heal some injuries and make his patients feel powerful and confident. He became active throughout the continent, giving his all to heal the suffering with his hard-earned gift. "The gods gave me a new life and a glorious mission. I will serve them until my dying breath."
