Viking Rise Hero Skill Upgrades: Levels, Stars and SP

Two previews of the same hero can differ because their skills, stars, promotion and talent ranks differ. Use the reference descriptions and a saved configuration to make those assumptions visible.

Step 1

Separate built-in skills from custom choices

A hero guide shows that hero’s original skills and awakened replacement where one is listed. The skill reference covers the selectable custom-skill catalogue. The planner prevents choosing the same custom skill twice on one hero; availability and the current game’s unlock conditions still matter.

Step 2

Read the full skill condition

Damage factors, healing factors, shields and probabilities describe different effects. Check how often an effect can trigger, its duration, its target and any prerequisite status. A large displayed factor is not a standalone ranking and must not be compared as though it were final damage.

Step 3

Keep level and star previews distinct

Select the skill level and star variant you intend to compare. The reference shows captured variants; it does not prove that every displayed combination is immediately obtainable on your account. Record the exact variant with your build so a teammate can reproduce the preview.

Step 4

Check awakening and SP separately

Awakening can replace a hero’s listed skill. For supported SP heroes, star progression replaces original talents step by step, while the remaining original talents keep their effects. The shard total is measured from the original Legendary form, not the price of the next click.

Step 5

Treat unmodelled dependencies as unknown

Atlas does not model every progression prerequisite, Honor Stele upgrade or combat interaction. Use the game to confirm unlocks and costs. Keep a baseline build before testing a different upgrade path rather than treating a catalogue preview as spending advice.
