Start with the listed troop and specialty tags, then read the skill triggers below. A gathering condition, commander-position condition or status requirement changes when an effect applies. Compare a complete march rather than ranking the hero by one factor.
Choose a different second commander in the planner, keep both upgrade states explicit and inspect the bonus sources. Atlas does not simulate full combat damage or prove that a pairing is best for every account.

Hero background
In Midgard, a legend is whispered from shore to shore: whoever lays eyes on Dalen is captivated by his handsome appearance, especially his melancholic red eyes. Whether it's merchants hoping to haggle or travelers making idle conversation, once they lock eyes with him, they are submerged in the depths of his gaze. Carefully crafted words are forgotten and only one desire remains: to stay by Dalen's side, and to comfort away the sorrow that lingers in his eyes with steadfast devotion.
As a child, Dalen witnessed firsthand the devastation brought by the Niflung raiders—raging infernos, cries of agony echoing across the seaside. The trauma shaped him, and he struggled with social interactions growing up. He spoke little to others, save for Anna, the lively girl who grew up beside him and slowly won his trust. Anna's warmth became Dalen's anchor, and she was his most precious treasure. But on the night before their wedding, Anna was murdered in a sudden Niflung attack. Grief-stricken, Dalen sealed Anna's blood within his ruby wedding ring. He immersed himself in the mastery of archery, growing ever more isolated and somber.
Eventually, Dalen left his clan, wandering the war-torn lands to fight the Niflungs, vowing to make them repay with their blood.
