Hero background
Sigrid, the eldest daughter of the lord of Frostblade City on the Northernmost Border, was born into nobility, renowned for her exceptional intelligence and deeply loved by the citizens of Frostblade. Within the city, Sigrid assisted her father in issuing decrees and governing affairs; beyond its walls, she led troops into battle, repelling the enemies that threatened Frostblade. Her abilities and prestige far surpassed those of her brother, the city's heir.
Watching his older sister gradually surpass him, Sigrid's brother saw his position as heir grow increasingly insecure. Eventually, he declared war on her. For the sake of Frostblade’s peace, Sigrid led a group of loyal followers and left the city, unaware that the vast expanse of the Northernmost Border awaited her. Along the way, Sigrid vanquished bandits, drove out sea monsters, and gradually gained control over the western regions of the Northernmost Border.
Years later, Sigrid returned to Frostblade as the head of a well-equipped army to quell internal strife. After restoring order, she resolved never to yield again. Power, she believed, is only valuable when held by the capable. Sigrid personally seized her brother’s crown and placed it upon her own head, vowing to protect the peace of the Northernmost Border with her sword and aspiring to become its queen. Her brother was imprisoned at her side, forced to witness firsthand how she ruled and rebuilt the order of the Northernmost Border.
