Start with the listed troop and specialty tags, then read the skill triggers below. A gathering condition, commander-position condition or status requirement changes when an effect applies. Compare a complete march rather than ranking the hero by one factor.
Choose a different second commander in the planner, keep both upgrade states explicit and inspect the bonus sources. Atlas does not simulate full combat damage or prove that a pairing is best for every account.

Hero background
Thorstein's physique is as towering as a mountain, his muscles coiled like steel cables, a quintessential Northern Berserker. The wildness and arrogance of the Northern clans flow through his veins, driving him to constantly challenge other formidable warriors in tests of courage, a practice that eventually cemented his status as the North's undisputed champion.
One fateful night, he marched into an ancient sanctum and challenged the God of Thunder armed with nothing but a common battle-axe. As frantic thunder crashed and blinding lightning filled the air, onlookers were certain the audacious youth would be torn apart. Instead, the celestial energy consumed him, miraculously fusing with his very flesh and blood. Thorstein stood unwavering in the sanctum's heart, his body and weapon now coursing with raw power, radiating potent electricity as a true Son of Thunder.
From that night on, a palpable charge of energy has made it impossible for Thorstein to draw close to anyone, earning him the name "Cursed Son of Thunder". He remains utterly indifferent to the epithet. His only desire is to wander the mortal realm with his battle-axe as his sole companion. He is driven by the belief that one day he will meet the true God of Thunder and challenge him once more.
